Doctoral researcher Vighneshkumar Rana selected for the prestigious Prime Ministers Research Fellowship (PMRF)

Prof. Vishal Singh shared his views on ‘Reflective Practice in Design and Design Education’ during a panel discussion at Antaaya’21 hosted by IIT Guwahati.

Four M.Des students pick research topics related to the Impact4Impact Lab for their Design & Society studies. Adarsh Jairam will study “Explicit and Implicit Use of Semiotics in Product Design”. Banani Das will study “A Preliminary Framework For The Use of Persuasion in Product Design”. Grish pait will study “Sharing in Design: From Standalone Solutions to Systemic Solutions ”. Yogesh Verma will study “Use of Story Telling in New Product Development”.

Two teams of M.Des students start their M.Des major projects related to the Impact4Impact Lab. Adarsh Jairam and Yogesh Verma will work on the project titled “DIY smart customizable room partitioning and divider system”. Grish Pait and Aniket Maruti Edhate will work on the project titled “Mobile Sanitation Unit”

Uttam Jodawat joins the group as a doctoral researcher.

Six undergraduate students from different colleges complete their 8 weeks virtual summer internship under Prof. Vishal Singh, as part of the Smart Manufacturing program.
