AIEDAM - ZAPSupport-Mail - EmailNews
  1. >>pagegroup<<

ZAPSupport-Mail

Documentation Support > Mail > EmailNews

Format:   (:zap emailnews="<NewsList>":)

Requirements to Use: ZAP | ZAP Toolbox

Explanation: This command functions very similar to Email except it looks for a specified <newslist> page in group NewsList, and automatically imports the email addresses on that page. By default this group is set to NewsLists, but can be changed to another group in your Site.ZAPConfig page.

Newslist pages are regular wiki pages with lists of email addresses on them surrounded by a [@ and @], each on a separate line. Though you can easily edit these pages, and manually cut and paste addresses, ZAP's logging feature makes it easy create these lists, as well as add, remove, or sort them. Sort also automatically eliminated duplicate entries. See the Log? command for more information, and the NewsList snippet for a working demo.

See Email for other basic information about sending emails in ZAP. All fields required in email are required in emailnews. Also, scheduling works the same in emailnews, as in email.

As a security feature, this command can ONLY be set using the (:zap field="value":) format.
